What this website collects

This website doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers. The only personal data it collects is the email address you enter when you start buying the guide, and whether you ticked the box to receive updates.

To improve the page, it keeps anonymous visit statistics: how far down the page a visit scrolled, which sections and buttons were viewed or tapped, the visitor's country, screen size and the site they came from. These aren't linked to you: no cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device, and IP addresses aren't kept. Netlify, the website host, also counts page views from its server logs.

Your browser also remembers the address on your own device, so you don't have to type it again. It never leaves your device that way.

How I use your email

• To deliver your purchase: the guide, the neighbour's property details, and the Villa Marevento discount when the house opens for rentals.
• To help you finish your order if you entered your email but didn't complete payment. I'll send at most one reminder.
• Updates, only if you ticked the box: news about properties for sale near the house and about Villa Marevento. Every update email has an unsubscribe link.

I don't sell or share your email address with anyone for their own use.

Services I use

• Stripe processes payments. It collects your name, email and payment details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• An email service provider stores your email address and sends the emails above on my behalf.
• Netlify hosts this website and may log your IP address for security.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, or unsubscribe from updates. Email support@sicily.house. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
